Centerlock Nut V2 Anodized Edition for BBS RM wheels

The MG-line Centerlock Nut V2 is a two-piece centerlock-inspired system developed specifically for compatible BBS RM wheel centers.

Unlike direct-thread V2 applications, BBS RM wheels do not use the BBS 58 mm or 71 mm threaded center required by those versions. Instead, this configuration uses a dedicated V2 mounting adapter secured to the wheel.

The Centerlock Nut has an internal thread and screws onto the dedicated adapter. Together, the anodized nut and CNC-machined adapter create the characteristic layered V2 appearance while providing a mounting solution designed specifically for the BBS RM wheel center.

The original wheel-to-hub mounting remains unchanged.

Key features

A stronger center for the complete build

A stronger center for the complete build

The MG-line Centerlock Nut V2 transforms the wheel center into a much more distinctive part of the complete vehicle design. Its layered two-piece construction adds depth and a stronger motorsport-inspired character that works naturally with classic, OEM+ and custom BBS builds.

Precision CNC-machined outer component

Precision CNC-machined outer component

The external V2 component is precisely CNC-machined from aluminum to achieve clean geometry, sharp detailing and an accurate fit around the centerlock-style nut. Its machined construction gives the complete wheel center a technical and premium appearance.

Anodized finish with refined detailing

Anodized finish with refined detailing

The Centerlock Nut is finished with anodizing for a clean, durable surface and a distinctive premium look. Carefully machined edges and engraved details give the V2 system a refined finish that remains visible both up close and as part of the complete wheel.

Fitment designed around the wheel center

Fitment designed around the wheel center

Each V2 configuration is designed around the mounting architecture of the compatible wheel. Selected BBS applications use direct 58 mm or 71 mm threaded fitment, while applications such as BBS RM use a dedicated mounting adapter with an internally threaded centerlock nut.

Why choose V2 for BBS RM?

The classic mesh design of the BBS RM gives the wheel center strong visual importance, making it particularly suitable for the more technical V2 construction.

The dedicated mounting adapter allows the system to work with the RM wheel center despite the absence of the 58 mm / 71 mm BBS thread, while the anodized nut creates a stronger motorsport-inspired focal point.

Fitment note

The BBS RM version of Centerlock Nut V2 uses a dedicated mounting adapter and does not use the 58 mm or 71 mm direct-thread configuration.

The adapter is mounted to the compatible BBS RM wheel center. The Centerlock Nut uses an internal thread and screws onto this adapter.

The adapter therefore performs both the mounting and positioning function for the V2 system.

What’s Included
Visual overview of the components included in the set.

Visual overview of the components included in the set.

One complete MG-line Centerlock Nut V2 set is supplied for four compatible BBS RM wheels.

Each assembly consists of a dedicated CNC-machined V2 mounting adapter and an anodized Centerlock Nut with the corresponding internal thread.

The adapter provides the connection to the wheel, while the Centerlock Nut screws onto the adapter to complete the V2 assembly.
Installation
The BBS RM version uses a dedicated V2 mounting adapter designed for the compatible wheel center.

The adapter is installed on the wheel first. The internally threaded Centerlock Nut is then screwed onto the adapter to complete the assembly.

This product does not use the 58 mm / 71 mm direct-thread mounting system found on selected other BBS V2 applications.
Centerlock Nuts V2 – Frequently Asked Questions
Does Centerlock Nut V2 for BBS RM use the 58 mm or 71 mm BBS thread?

No. The BBS RM version uses a dedicated V2 mounting adapter because the compatible RM wheel center does not use the 58 mm / 71 mm threaded interface. The internally threaded Centerlock Nut screws onto the supplied adapter.

Is the Centerlock Nut V2 a real centerlock conversion?

No. The MG-line Centerlock Nut V2 is a visual centerlock-style wheel-center system. The original wheel-to-hub mounting remains unchanged, so the vehicle is not converted to a functional single-nut centerlock system.

What is the Centerlock Nut V2 made from?

The V2 system combines an anodized centerlock-style nut with a CNC-machined aluminum outer component. Together, the two parts create the characteristic layered V2 wheel-center design.

How is the Centerlock Nut V2 mounted?

The mounting method depends on the compatible wheel application. Selected BBS wheels use direct 58 mm or 71 mm threaded fitment, while other applications such as BBS RM use a dedicated mounting adapter with an internally threaded centerlock nut.

What is the difference between the 58 mm and 71 mm versions?

These are two different thread configurations used on compatible BBS wheel centers. The correct option must match the original threaded center of the wheel.

Does every BBS wheel use the 58 mm or 71 mm thread?

No. Some compatible BBS applications do not use this direct-thread system. For example, the BBS RM version uses a dedicated V2 mounting adapter instead.

Is the outer V2 component responsible for mounting the nut to the wheel?

Not on direct-thread applications. On these versions, the Centerlock Nut itself screws directly into the original wheel thread, while the CNC-machined outer component fits over the nut as part of the visual two-piece design.

What finish does the Centerlock Nut V2 have?

The Centerlock Nut is supplied in an anodized finish as standard. The outer V2 component is CNC-machined from aluminum and may have a different finish depending on the selected product configuration.

Is one set for four wheels?

Yes. One complete Centerlock Nut V2 set is supplied for four compatible wheels.

Does the V2 system change the original wheel mounting?

No. The wheel remains secured to the vehicle using its original wheel bolts or wheel nuts. The V2 system changes only the appearance and configuration of the wheel center.

Are these original BBS products?

No. Centerlock Nut V2 products are aftermarket components manufactured by MG-line and designed for selected compatible BBS wheel applications. BBS names and wheel model references are used only to identify compatibility.
