Floating 70 mm center cap upgrade for BBS-style nuts

MG-line Floating Center Cap Adapter 70 mm is designed as a direct replacement for compatible original 70 mm center caps using the 3-tab mounting system.

The adapter fits selected original BBS nuts where a standard 70 mm 3-tab center cap was originally installed. It is also compatible with selected MG-line BBS hex and centerlock-style nuts using the same center cap mounting system.

Unlike a conventional center cap that rotates together with the wheel, the integrated floating mechanism allows the center logo to remain visually upright while driving.

The floating adapter is smaller than 70 mm in diameter and is designed to replace compatible 70 mm center caps used in selected BBS nuts.

The adapter is secured inside the nut using an O-ring rather than the original 3-tab mounting system. Compatibility is therefore based on the dimensions and internal shape of the nut where the original 70 mm center cap was installed.

It is intended for selected original BBS nuts and compatible MG-line nuts designed to accept 70 mm center caps.

Different BBS nut and wheel versions may use different internal dimensions and center cap systems. If you are unsure about compatibility, compare your existing setup with the product photos or send us a photo of the nut and the original center cap.

Installation
Remove the existing 70 mm center cap from the nut.

Align the three retaining tabs of the floating adapter with the corresponding mounting points and press the adapter evenly into position.

Make sure that:

all three tabs are correctly engaged;
the adapter sits evenly inside the nut;
the adapter is securely retained;
the floating mechanism can move freely.

Apply the 70 mm adhesive logo sticker centrally to the front surface of the adapter.

Before driving, check that the adapter is correctly installed and securely retained.
